    Food Sensitivities

Food sensitivities don't have to last forever. They're signals that your gut barrier has broken down. Your immune system is fighting food proteins that got into your blood. Fix the barrier and calm your immune system, and most sensitivities go away.

Food sensitivities are different from true allergies. They happen when your gut lining has holes in it and lets things through that it should block. They happen when your gut bacteria are out of balance. And they happen when your immune system reacts the wrong way to food. These problems make your body get inflamed hours or even days after you eat certain foods. Signal-Based Medicine tests find which foods cause these delayed reactions. But it also fixes the gut problems that made the sensitivities happen in the first place.

    Symptoms

These are signs your body may be sending you:

    • Bloating after you eat
    • Feeling very tired, especially after meals
    • Hard time thinking clearly
    • Pain in your joints
    • Skin problems like eczema or acne
    • Headaches
    • Stuffy nose
    • Changes in your mood
    • Stomach problems
    • Gaining weight or not being able to lose it

    Root Causes

True food allergies happen right away and can be deadly. Food sensitivities are different. They show up later and depend on how much you eat. They start when your gut barrier gets weak. Then food proteins slip through and touch your immune system. The problem isn't the food itself. The problem is the food being where it shouldn't be, in your blood. That's why cutting out foods without fixing your gut doesn't work. You just end up with fewer and fewer foods you can eat.

    Treatment Approach

We find out which foods make your body react badly. Then we fix the gut lining that is letting those reactions happen. For a short time, you stop eating those foods. This gives your body a break while we heal your gut, balance your gut bacteria, and calm your immune system. Once everything is working better, you can start eating those foods again.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Are food sensitivity tests accurate?

Food sensitivity tests show which foods your immune system is fighting. They work best when you also check your gut barrier. The real goal is not to avoid those foods forever. The goal is to understand why your body is reacting and fix what caused it.

Will I have to avoid these foods forever? Usually not. Most food sensitivities go away when your gut barrier heals and your immune system works right again. We remove these foods for a short time while we fix what caused the problem. Then we slowly add the foods back in.

What's the difference between food allergy and food sensitivity?

Food allergies happen right away. They can be very bad or even life-threatening. Most people have them for their whole life. Food sensitivities are different. They show up later, sometimes hours or even days after you eat. They depend on how much you ate. The good news is that food sensitivities often go away when your gut gets healthy again.
