The Science Behind Kaqun Oxygen Immersion Therapy

Four decades of institutional research have characterized stabilized dissolved-oxygen water, its safety, immune-signal effects, supportive-care role in oncology, and impact on physiologic performance. Kure Health delivers this science clinically, as KureO2™.

Kaqun oxygen water has been studied across four research clusters, immunology (OKBI, 2009), oncology supportive care (National Institute of Oncology, 2013–2015), OECD-GLP product safety (2010–2011), and performance/cognitive readiness (2007–2017). Peer-reviewed research is indexed on PubMed (ID 24918177). Kure Health, the exclusive international destination for Kaqun Oxygen Immersion therapy, delivers the platform as KureO2™ inside a Signal-Based Medicine™ protocol.

    Measured Oxygen Content, pO₂ Comparison

Dissolved-oxygen partial pressure (pO₂) is the objective way to compare "oxygen" products. Kaqun / KureO2™ measures 10–15× ordinary bottled water, and, critically, the oxygen stays in solution long enough to be absorbed through skin and gut.

SourceDissolved O₂ (pO₂)Ratio vs. water baseline
    Standard tap / bottled water5 – 8 mmHg1× baseline
    Aerated / "oxygenated" bottled water20 – 40 mmHg2 – 5× (gas escapes in minutes)
Ozone / bubble spaTransient, not measurable in tissueSurface only
    Kaqun / KureO2™ oxygen water400 – 500 mmHg≈ 10 – 15× (stabilized, transdermal-bioavailable)
HBOT (inhaled, 2.0 ATA)≈ 1,500 mmHg arterial (pulmonary route)Different pathway (lungs, not skin)

    The Warburg Foundation

"No disease, including cancer, can exist in an alkaline environment saturated with oxygen."
    - Dr. Otto Warburg, 1931 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine (paraphrase of published lectures)

Warburg's central finding, that impaired cellular respiration and reduced oxygen utilization are shared upstream signatures of chronic disease, is the public-domain scientific bedrock of every credible oxygen-therapy program. The modern Kaqun / KureO2™ research program extends that thesis with measurable delivery: stable dissolved oxygen that reaches tissue transdermally, not gaseous bubbles that dissipate on contact with air.

    Immunology

    2009 (extended 2012)

Immune-modulating effects of stabilized dissolved oxygen (Kaqun), NK and T-cell activity

Institution: OKBI, National Institute of Chemical Safety, Hungary; University of Debrecen

In vitro and in vivo evaluation of Kaqun oxygen water on natural-killer cell activity, T-cell response, and cytokine profile. Extended follow-up at the University of Debrecen replicated key immune-signal findings.

Outcome: Documented shifts in immune-signal markers consistent with improved oxygen delivery to lymphoid tissue.

    Oncology Supportive Care

    2013–2015

Adjunctive Kaqun oxygen water in oncology, dermatitis, radiation & drug tolerability

Institution: National Institute of Oncology, Budapest

Clinical evaluation of Kaqun oxygen water as supportive care during radiation and chemotherapy, assessing radiation-induced and drug-induced dermatitis, treatment tolerability, and quality-of-life measures. Peer-reviewed research on the underlying oxygen-water platform is indexed on PubMed (ID 24918177).

Outcome: Adjunctive use associated with reduced dermatologic side-effect severity and improved patient-reported tolerability. Not a cancer therapy, supportive-care research only.

    Product Safety & Antioxidant Profile

    2010–2011

    OECD-GLP cytotoxicity (HepG2) and antioxidant-capacity characterization

    Institution: GLP-certified contract labs, EU

OECD Good Laboratory Practice cytotoxicity screening on HepG2 hepatocyte cell lines, plus antioxidant-capacity assays characterizing the stabilized-oxygen matrix.

Outcome: No cytotoxic signal at physiologic exposure. Measurable antioxidant capacity consistent with stable dissolved-oxygen content.

    Performance & Cognitive Readiness

    2007 · 2012 · 2017 (military readiness)

Oxygen saturation, HRV/ECG, reaction time and stress index under Kaqun protocol

Institution: Hungarian University of Public Service; independent performance labs

Studies assessing SpO₂, heart-rate variability (HRV), ECG parameters, reaction time, stress index, standing stability, and force exertion in subjects using Kaqun oxygen water, including a 2017 military combat-readiness evaluation.

Outcome: Consistent improvements in SpO₂, HRV coherence, reaction time and stress-index scores versus control conditions.
